Qualification
This training leads to formal qualification. The qualification awarded is based on your professional background.
Certified Infant Massage Instructor
At the end of the three day in person training, you receive the Certified Infant Massage Instructor qualification.
Certified Infant Massage Instructors are qualified to teach parents how to massage their own babies in individual or group settings.
Paediatric Massage Consultant
If you have a professional background related to working with parents, infants or children, you may choose to complete one additional written assessment task after the course.
On completion of this additional assessment, you receive the Paediatric Massage Consultant qualification, in addition to the Certified Infant Massage Instructor qualification.
In addition to teaching parents, Paediatric Massage Consultants may deliver theory based presentations to professional groups about infant and paediatric massage. These presentations focus on research, benefits, safety considerations and referral pathways, and support greater understanding of how massage may assist infants, children and families.
